Hi – if you’re here I’m guessing you are planning a wedding for 2024 (or you’re just supporting me by reading this). Of course, I am not the determining factor of what is “cool” or a “trend” These are just some options that I would love to see become a trend over the next year or two.
This is a fun alternative to a sparkler or glowstick exit! I haven’t seen many couples do this for their exit. Typically, the most popular exit choice here in West Texas is a sparkler exit. The cell phone flash exit is giving a red carpet moment and the best part is that it is one less thing you need to purchase for your wedding.
Ditch the matching pajamas and wear these trendy t-shirts with your bridal party. You can opt for a bride shirt or go custom with your future married name!
I’m sure you’ve seen this trend gaining in popularity over the last few months. I have seen these newspapers utilized as fans or including activities for the guests like word searches. I think it is a great way to personalize your wedding day with some information about you both and a wedding day guide.
I can see the trend of smaller wedding bouquets being popular in the next year or so. I think we will see beautiful and intentionally created bouquets without any of those extra fillers like excessive greenery (I’m looking at you eucalyptus).
The 2000s are back, and so are headbands!! This is a simple accessory to consider instead of a hairpiece, and I think it looks phenomenal with a veil.
Vintage wedding cakes!! One thing most of my clients over-order is a cake. Rarely, has there been a wedding I have worked that there was not enough cake. Typically, the venue throws most of it away at the end of the night. I support the idea of having a smaller cake and offering your guests a variety of desserts at a dessert table. I am absolutely loving the aesthetic of these vintage cakes!
